new...

...sort of. the to-do list has a lot to answer for and with the new home print equipment, i have been able to cross some things off it. as pictured, these are the first batch of raincloud purses - printed from a new screen that i ordered with a couple of my designs already on it. i miss the process of self-making screens though. i have used this design before to make a print but i thought it would look cool on some fabric - plus i get to use up some of the fabric stash that really needs using up. inside i have up-cycled/recycled some 'old' dotty blue fabric. these six are already on their way out to two stockists and this weekend i am hoping to print and sew more - i only have nine zips left! i have printed out more lion birthday cards and the sketchbook is full of more to-do things. today is Saturday and there is a long bank holiday t aweekend ahead of me so we shall see what happens with this extra playtime.

Love these, they look great! The pattern would be really nice for fabric in general...I'd quite like a skirt with that print. Ever thought of trying Spoonflower?

hello cat. thanks for the comment - i tried spoonflower last year with this same pattern - great minds think alike! i used a grey and a blue but my colours were bit dark - i made a purse out teh swatch they sent and it sold - hence the printed ones. further spoonflower experiments are on the cards once i have got to grips with colour. x
