back in black...

...erm...back in mechanical pencil are the lions of Manchester. here we have a page that has taken a while to draw. the mister john is in the top left hand corner. i often get dragged to his lab on a Sunday for 'ten minutes' while he preps some work for the week ahead. i finally finished it off last night on the train to Stoke-on-Trent and this dinnertime in the Cafe at Marks & Sparks. i am planning a page of lions every other day, like it used to be before i got the lazy germs that have been going around. i am hoping to update the etsy shop tomorrow with some plush teeth -they are back in stock- and i hope to have some time to have another go at making a textile fox. i treated myself to the new Shaun Tan book this morning. i found it by accident whilst browsing in Waterstones. plus upon purchasing said item, the lady asked if i would like to use the the points off my card to pay for it, i said 'aye, yes please' so it goes to show that all these 'point/loyalty' schemes do pay off in the end! the metre big robotington has now gone to his new home in Huddersfield and he was that enjoyable to make that i may make two or three more in that size as god knows i have enough fabric to do so.
