playing...

...with my huge collection of felt-tips. in order to think about how best to tackle the on-going issue with colour, i decided to sort out my materials box last night and never realised that i had so many felt-tips. i drew a pattern of randomness while i tested all the felt-tip pens. i could have coloured forever and it did cheer me up as i am in a confused state of mind. i am no nearer to doing what i want to do and too many steps away from a better job.

I love to doodle and create things spontaneously, often without even realising...i come off the phone with weird and wonderful scribbles and doodles on the phone pad, occasionally one is new, interesting, quirky, beautiful..these ones make me happy and always end up stuck on the fridge til the next one come along!

Loving your illustration, especially the lions drinking tea and coffee in manchester!!

Hi Debs,

Poor lass! I feel confused sometimes too and have a few things I do which help... doodling and drawing is lovely and playing the piano (although it is more the Les Dawson effect that cheers me up these days), and lots more... but please check you are getting to bed early and eating well as these things can have a really big effect on your outlook...

Also, you have a lot of talent and being creative is a lifelong journey, so don't worry too much, just keep on traveling and you will find the way.

Hope you don't mind my comment,

Jen xxx
