from a doodle...

...a bird was stitched this evening out of some dotty fabric to make sure the idea of the curly tail would work. i am planning to made some adjustments to the design. the tail bit works but i know it could work better if i played around with the sewing machine and fabric more. the bird has some string legs so i can attach it to places like the teapot handle for example. i doodled loads of birds today and i am planning to make some more up when i am happy with my fabric designs.

Cuuuutttte! You could stuff the bird with wire and bend it... ah no that would be cruel. It looks very cute. Jen
